Management of measurement configuration information by a base station apparatus and a mobile station apparatus which communicate by carrier aggregation using a plurality of serving cells (component carriers), each having a different frequency. The mobile station apparatus is configured by a configuration message received from the base station apparatus. The configuration message includes a measurement configuration specifying a measurement object and a reporting configuration, which are linked by a measurement identity, wherein the measurement object indicates a frequency to be measured, and the reporting configuration includes criteria triggering the reporting of measurements related to the occurrence of an event. Both the base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus include a radio resource control circuit configured to process the measurement configuration information, in response to the removal of a serving cell, to delete the measurement identity corresponding to the frequency relevant to a serving cell of the plurality of serving cells.
