A valve, by means of which the interval between two successive explosions in a gun scarecrow may be adjusted, comprises an internally threaded cylinder 1, having a gas inlet 7 and an outlet 10, and an externally threaded shaft 5 carrying at one end a conical closure member 14 and being axially movable along the cylinder by rotation of a handle 25. Attached to the cylinder is a circular plate 4 having a plurality of holes 29 engageable by a retractable stop 28, the disposition of the handle in relation to the plate determining the degree of opening of the gas flow passage from the inlet 7 to the outlet 10 which is connected to the gun.</p> |
