#CMT# #/CMT# The device (3) has a sluice chamber (16) including a bottom flap (36) provided with an air outlet opening (55), where the sluice chamber receives a tobacco. The opening is formed as a nozzle lip, and is aligned outward to a region of an outer edge of the bottom flap. Two sections of the opening are loaded with pressurized air independent of each other in an opened condition of the bottom flap. The opening is formed by a channel (52) running in the bottom flap, which includes a flap plate (51). A projection is arranged above the channel. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Feeding device for a tobacco processing industrial machine i.e. cigarette rod machine (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The bottom flap of the sluice chamber is provided with the air outlet opening, such that constructive cost of the device is reduced. The device avoids contamination at a sealing surface of the bottom flap or the sluice chamber during operation of the device in a durable and reliable manner. The air outlet opening is formed as the nozzle lip, such that large surface of the bottom flap is simply cleaned.
