<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a direct/indirect ratio even when noise is superimposed. <P>SOLUTION: A direct/indirect ratio estimation unit comprises a spatial correlation matrix calculation means, a signal power estimation means, and a direct/indirect ratio calculation means. The spatial correlation matrix calculation means calculates a spatial correlation matrix by inputting signals in a frequency domain output from plural frequency domain conversion units to vectorize the signals in the frequency domain. The signal power estimation means calculates a vector comprising the power of a direct sound, the power of a reverberant sound, and the power of noise from previously given arrangement information of microphones and the spatial correlation matrix to output the power of the direct sound and the power of the reverberant sound in the vector elements.
