<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting device capable of improving quality of an image formed by liquid jetting, and a printing method. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid jetting device includes a first head and a second head having a plurality of nozzles arrayed in a predetermined direction to jet liquid, a conveying mechanism for relatively moving a jetting target medium in a predetermined direction, a composite nozzle array formed by stacking a dot formed by the nozzle of the first head and a dot formed by one or more nozzles of the second head, and a controller for forming an image by controlling the conveying mechanism and the jetting from the respective nozzles. The controller has a plurality of rules for selecting the dots, a function for selectively jetting the dots of the first and second heads, and switches the rules to perform printing according to a jetting condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
