<p>Provided is a belt junction conveyor that can eliminate the need for a meander-preventing means. The belt junction conveyor is provided with a pair of end pulleys, the rotation axes of which extend in mutually different directions; an endless belt looped about the end pulleys; and a pair of intermediate free rollers disposed between the end pulleys, and adapted to fold the belt such that the direction of advance of the belt forms a right angle to the respective rotation axes of the end pulleys; wherein the belt junction conveyor is characterized in that rollers having a friction reducing means that reduces friction arising between the intermediate free rollers and the incoming belt and that makes it possible for the belt to move in a direction parallel to the rotation axes of the intermediate free rollers, are employed as the intermediate free rollers.</p> |
