An assembly is provided for forming holes in a workpiece. The assembly includes an arbor (24), a pin sleeve (30) and a cutting device (22). The arbor (24) has a nose (40) having at least one threaded portion (62a, 62b) and at least one unthreaded portions (64a, 64b) on an external surface thereof. The arbor (24) also has at least one pin passageway (56a, 56b) extending therethrough. The pin sleeve (30) has at least one pin (74a, 74b) extending from a main body (72). The arbor (24) extends through the pin sleeve (30). The cutting device (22) has a back plate (96) and a plurality of teeth (100) extending therefrom. The back plate (96) has a passageway (98) defined by a wall with at least one threaded portion (102a, 102b) and at least one unthreaded portion (104a, 104b). The at least one threaded portion (102a, 102b) of the cutting device (22) is capable of engaging with the at least one threaded portion (62a, 62b) of the nose (40), and the at least one pin (74a, 74b) of the pin sleeve (30) is capable of engagement with the at least one pin passageway (56a, 56b) of the arbor (24) to secure the components together. |
