<p>Hemodynamic arteriographic sphygmomanometer using a cutaneous load piezoelectric bimorph multilayer ceramic macro-sensor placed on the external ventral surface of a direct sphygmomanometric air chamber and capable of directly transcutaneously extracting from the brachial artery a brachial arteriographic trace consisting of real arterial pulsatory waves, suitable for the measurement of the systemic arterial pressure; under the pressing action exerted by the air chamber, said sensor being positioned at about 1 cm from the brachial artery course with its axis perpendicular to said artery. The invention also relates to a method for measuring the systemic arterial blood pressure by means of the specific trace recorded by said sphygmomanometer and to the methods for measuring cardiac and central aortic functional parameters.</p> |
