<p>The embodiment of the present invention provides a method and system for a video monitoring system to reduce pan-tilt control delay. After receiving a pan-tilt control request sent by a user through a terminal, a pan-tilt control unit of a front-end device searches a local cache to authenticate the pan-tilt control request, if the authentication result is that the pan-tilt control request is permitted, then it operates a pan-tilt according to the pan-tilt control request and returns an operation result to the terminal.</p> |
