摘要 <p>Disclosed are a method of reducing charge and discharge measurement time in a rechargeable battery manufacturing process and an apparatus thereof. After performing electrical connection between a battery cell and a charge/discharge regulator so as to perform a charge/discharge operation, a control means performs a charge operation of the battery cell until the battery cell is fully charged, based on a preset C-rate value preset through the charge/discharge regulator. After the charge operation, the control means performs a first-step charge operation based on the preset C-rate value. The first-step discharge operation is ended when an internal voltage of the battery cell inputted from a measurement means is less than a preset discharge end voltage, and a second-step discharge operation is performed based on the preset C-rate value. The second-step discharge operation of step is ended when the internal voltage of the battery cell inputted from the measurement means is less than the preset discharge end voltage. Therefore, while maintaining the same capacity measurement value as the existing method, it is possible to significantly reducing the measurement time and to reduce the time necessary for manufacturing the rechargeable battery.</p>
