<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill storage device which does not requires a time and labor in installation, operation, and maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: In the bill storage device which comprises a receiving part that receives a bill introduced and delivers the received bill, a transfer part that transfers the bill delivered from the receiving part, and a housing that arranges and stacks the bills transferred from the transfer part by a bill lifting means 32 that is vertically movable and houses the stacked bills, for example, in installation or restart after maintenance, control software gives a command to the bill lifting means 32 so that the meas is reciprocated in a detectable range of a positioning sensor 34 a plurality of times to grasp a time t necessary for the bill lifting means 32 reciprocated in a detectable range, and subsequently, a command is given to the bill lifting means 32 so that the means is stopped after t/2 from entry into the detectable range of the positioning sensor 34 to perform the positioning of the bill lifting means 32 and detect a top dead point 341 by the positioning sensor 34 which is always kept at a given position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
