The present invention relates to a method for changing an algorithm and an electronic device thereof. The method for changing an algorithm on an electronic device includes: an action of determining an algorithm based on at least one between environmental information and resource usage; an action of determining variables for the determined algorithm based on at least one between the environmental information and the resource usage; and an action of executing the determined algorithm based on the determined variables for the algorithm. By doing so, it is possible to run the algorithm variably depending on the environment of the electronic device.
