A modular pool of prefabricated sections, for use as a pond, aquarium, swimming pool or other structure for containing fluids, comprises at least two side walls 3, attachment means to join side walls ends 4 together, and at least one window 5 in at least one of the side wall sections. The window can be glass or plastics material, and can be straight or curved. The side walls may include a window housing 15 to secure the window in a range of angles. The attachment means may be an interlocking joint 70. The structure is watertight at the joints between side walls, the base 6, and between the side wall and window piece. The base may be rigid or non-rigid and constructed of plastics or rubber sheet or other waterproof material. There may be attachment means for decorative elements 36 including brick slip facing 86. In the preferred embodiment, the assembled pond has four side wall sections, four windows, and a non-rigid base, providing a watertight structure for containing fluids. In another embodiment, the pool has two connected side walls, and is attached to two pre-existing faces of a building or structure. |
