<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reefer area moving roof using a reefer container for reducing power consumption, and a method for controlling the same, and to provide an energy-saving container terminal in which the reefer area moving roof is installed. <P>SOLUTION: In the container terminal having a reefer area 2 on which the reefer container 21R having a function of holding an internal temperature constant is placed, the reefer area moving roof 15 is installed on the reefer area 2. A light shielding member 6 is arranged between reefer stands 4A, 4B installed on the reefer area 2.
