<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifeboat protector capable of improving safety during landing in water by reducing an impact on the head and neck of an occupant in a free fall type lifeboat. <P>SOLUTION: The lifeboat protector 1 is a plate-like member which is formed in a side-view stepwise shape so that it is gradually narrowed from a face pad portion 1a including an opening portion 1d toward a belly pad portion 1b and the face pad portion 1a is located on the further front side than the belly pad portion 1c in a planar view from the side of a plate material 2, and which has a bent portion 1c between the face pad portion 1a and the belly pad portion 1c.
