<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device which is radially compact and efficiently cools a speed reducer. <P>SOLUTION: In the swivel drive device of a shovel, a dry brake unit 15 for braking a motor shaft 5 is disposed so as to be detached from a motor 1 and a speed reducer 2, between the motor 1 and the speed reducer 2. The brake unit 15 houses a brake mechanism in a brake housing 16, and includes a refrigerant passage 23 in which a refrigerant flows, and an inlet 24 and outlet 25 for the refrigerant formed in an outer periphery part surrounding the brake mechanism in the brake housing 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
