<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine, for each subject, the outer edge of a filter which is set for clearly indicating soft tissue of the subject in a lateral cephalogram. <P>SOLUTION: The medical radiography device includes: a point specifying means for specifying points P1 and P2 in the lateral cephalogram 8 displayed on an image display 65; a border line determining means which determines a border line L between soft tissue ST and hard tissue HT on the basis of the points P1 and P2 specified by the point specifying means; a filter outer edge setting means which sets an outer edge Q of the filter F of the same shape as the border line L in a predetermined position; and an image processing means which sets the filter F in a predetermined region from the outer edge Q of the filter F in the direction 95 of the subject O, and performs image processing for enhancing the contrast of a part covered with the filter F to clearly indicate the soft tissue ST of the subject O covered with the filter F in the lateral cephalogram 8 displayed on the image display 65. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
