<p>Disclosed are a method for discerning an access point and an apparatus applied to the same, which can induce a terminal device to connect to only a legitimate access point by determining the access point to which the terminal device intends to connect on the basis of an access address of the access point and identification information of an authenticated terminal device that the access point authenticated. A management apparatus to achieve the purpose of the present invention comprises: a reception unit which receives a discerning request concerning connection of a terminal device to an access point transmitted from a terminal device; a determination unit which determines whether the access point is a legitimate access point to which the terminal device may access on the based on an access address of the access point and identification information of terminal devices that the access point authenticated; and a control unit which enables the terminal device to access to the access point if it is determined that the access point is the legitimate access point.</p> |
