<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently designing and obtaining a primer for detecting an animal-derived DNA and a primer to be specifically detected in high sensitivity obtained by the method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for obtaining a primer sequence for detecting a DNA derived from a specific animal species or group comprises processes of (a) determination of search object domain of DNA sequence list, (b) a multiple alignment of DNA sequence list of the specific species or group, (c) obtaining of consensus sequence, (d) a multiple alignment between a DNA sequence list of different animal species or group and the consensus sequence, (e) base comparison between columns in a multiple alignment DNA sequence and scoring of consensus sequence, (f) selection of a sequence having a high score, (g) correction of base of the consensus sequence, (h) selection of the sequence pair so that a distance between the consensus sequences is a proper base length and (i) confirmation of specificity and detection sensitivity of the consensus sequence pair. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
