<p>A method to produce cast pieces with optimum mechanical properties having through-openings with minimal outlay in terms of equipment. A casting mould in which at least one casting core is used. A through-channel leading through the through-opening of the cast piece is formed by burning the binder in the moulding material out of the casting core representing the through-opening by means of the heat input into the casting mould when pouring the molten metal into the casting mould, or by mechanically destroying, at least in part, the respective casting core representing the through-opening and the regions of the casting mould arranged in the extension of the casting core.</p> |
