<p>The disclosure discloses a method and system for performing a call transfer based on a Session Initial Protocol (SIP) by a Set-Top Box (STB). The method comprises the steps of: binding a called visual communication STB to a called user terminal in an Application server (AS); setting a target terminal number for the call transfer corresponding to the called visual communication STB and/or the called user terminal; setting, by a calling user terminal, a call to the called user terminal or the called visual communication STB; and initiating, by the calling user terminal, an AS; after the called user terminal and the called visual communication STB receive a call from the AS, displaying an incoming call prompt on a visual interface of the visual communication STB; selecting, by the called visual communication STB, a call transfer function based on the incoming call prompt, so as to transfer the call by the called visual communication STB. Therefore, the disclosures can strengthen experience of a user in a conventional user terminal service.</p> |
