摘要 <p>Provided in the present invention are a fuel cell propulsion system using a diesel reformer and a method thereof. The fuel cell propulsion system comprises: a diesel oil storage tank which stores diesel oil; an oxygen storage tank which stores oxygen; a diesel engine which is connected with the diesel oil storage tank, and generates electric power by operating a generator using the diesel oil supplied from the diesel oil storage tank as fuel; a vaporizer which is connected with the diesel oil storage tank in order to vaporize the diesel oil stored in the diesel oil storage tank; a diesel reformer which is connected with the vaporizer, extracts hydrogen from the diesel oil in gaseous state supplied from the vaporizer, and supplies the hydrogen to a fuel cell; and a fuel cell which is connected with the diesel reformer and the oxygen storage tank, and generates electric power from hydrogen supplied from the diesel reformer and oxygen supplied from the oxygen storage tank, through electrolysis inverse reaction of water. Therefore, the fuel cell propulsion system using a diesel reformer can unify and facilitate maintenance and repair of a fuel storage tank by integrating a diesel oil storage tank and a hydrogen storage alloy, which are separated in the conventional submarine as the concept of a fuel storage tank, and can efficiently arrange the space in a submarine by removing the hydrogen storage alloy which accounts for great weight and volume in the conventional submarine.</p>
