The present invention provides a device and a method for processing overlapping of objects in a breeding farm. In particular, The device for processing overlapping of objects according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an image acquiring unit which acquires an image generated by photographing a plurality of objects from a ceiling-floor direction of the breeding farm; a storage unit which stores overlap information on areas, where at least portions of respective objects overlap, based on an image at a reference frame among the acquired images; a target object searching unit which compares every frames of the acquired images with each other to search for a target object among the targets; and a modifying unit which modifies the overlap information on the target object stored in the storage unit according to a variation of a moving state of the target object, and modifies the overlap information for the rest objects except for the target object based on the modified overlap information. The moving state of the target object changes from moving to stop or from stop to moving in successive frames.
