<p>The present invention relates to: a Lactobacillus casei MCL strain (KCCM 11290P); an anti-inflammatory composition containing, as an active ingredient, a culture extract of the strain or fermented milk fermented by the strain; a method for producing fermented milk having anti-inflammatory activity, comprising a step of bringing the strain into contact with the milk; and a starter culture composition for producing fermented milk having anti-inflammatory activity, wherein the composition contains the strain as an active ingredient. The strain of the present invention can significantly reduce the expression of various inflammation inducing factors and significantly increase the expression of anti-inflammatory factors, and thus is useful as a composition for preventing, treating, or ameliorating inflammatory diseases caused by abnormal immune modulation.</p> |
