<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably secure higher grade magnetic characteristics by making a primary recrystallization texture adequate or enhancing the texture thereby sharpening (upgrading) Goss-orientation integration degree in a secondary recrystallization texture in a method of producing a complete solid solution nitrided type grain oriented magnetic steel sheet. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of producing the complete solid solution nitrided type Al-containing grain oriented magnetic steel sheet (containing 0.05-0.09% C, 2.8-4.0% Si, 0.022-0.033% acid-soluble Al, 0.003-0.006% N, 0.03-0.09% Mn, 0.010-0.023% S-equivalent (S<SB>eq</SB>=S+0.405Se) and 0.005% Ti), this steel sheet is produced in such a manner that decarburized amount (mass%) during period from heating of a slab untile completion of hot rolling satisfies expression (1); the decarburized amount (mass%)≤0.2×the carbon content in the slab-0.006 (mass%).
