<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet classifying apparatus efficiently classifying powder mixed in liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The wet classifying apparatus includes a classifying tank 4 classifying the powder in the liquid, and a recovery tank 6 recovering the powder classified in the classifying tank 4. The classifying tank 4 includes a filter unit 12 disposed inside a classifying tank body 10, and an ultrasonic wave generator 14 for stirring mixture liquid L inside the classifying tank body 10 utilizing an ultrasonic wave. The filter unit 12 includes a unit housing 18 defining a suction space, and a filter means disposed on the suction side of the unit housing 18. The recovery tank 6 includes a recovery tank body 40, and a depressurizing means 48 depressurizing inside the recovery tank body 40.
