<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device and image forming apparatus that can safely replace ink cartridges. <P>SOLUTION: A lock release member 32 provided in the ink cartridge 30 separates from a second guide member 18-2 of a lock member 18 when the ink cartridge 30 is pulled off to be replaced. The guide member 18-2 moves along a tapered surface of the lock release member 32 moving in the direction to pull off. A first guide member 18-1 of the lock member 18 slides the tapared surface of a guide member 17 along with the movement of the second guide member 18-2 and a biasing force by a lock spring 19. A cap 14 moves to a cover position accompanying the movement of the guide member 17. Accordingly, the cap 14 covers a tip end of a supplying needle 13 by moving in the direction to the tip end side of the supplying needle 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
