<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lens unit, which is capable of preventing breakage of a lens portion. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a lens unit uses a wafer lens having a lens portion formed thereon. In a placing step, the wafer lens is placed on a vacuum chuck including a space portion where the lens portion is to be disposed, and first and second paths connecting the space portion and the outside. In a first suction step, air in the space portion is sucked through the first path of the vacuum chuck with the wafer lens on the vacuum chuck to evacuate the space portion, whereby the wafer lens is sucked to the vacuum chuck. In an installation step, the vacuum chuck having the wafer lens sucked thereto is installed on a work bench. In a second suction step, suction through the first path is terminated, and air in the space portion is sucked through the second path to suck the wafer lens and the vacuum chuck to the work bench. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
