The rod (1) has fastening devices (3, 4) arranged in a hollow cylindrical central body (2). The fastening devices are pivotally connected to connecting pieces (7, 8) through screw threaded arrangements, for changing length of the rod. The arrangements comprise helically wound steel wire inserts, which are arranged among the connecting pieces and shafts of the fastening devices. The connecting pieces are formed as sleeve-shaped components. External threads formed at the shafts correspond to internal threads of the connecting pieces. |
