The present invention relates to a method for providing product information, including the steps of: (a) receiving, by a user terminal, a predetermined signal from the signal element of a product, and checking, by the user terminal, location information; (b) transmitting, by the user terminal, the received signal and the location information to a main server; (c) determining, by the main server, whether a genuine product signal corresponding to the transmitted signal is present and sale location information corresponding to the transmitted location information is present; and (d) if the corresponding genuine product signal and the corresponding sale location information are present, transmitting, by the main server, the product information of the product to the user terminal. According to the present invention, product information is provided to a user, purchase information is provided to a provider, and the forgery and illegitimate distribution of a product can be prevented. |
