Sonic and ultrasonic dental instrument, sonic head coupling device and sonic tool

The dental instrument has coupling device (1) for releasably securing a dental tool (2) to a tool holder (3). The dental tool is connected with sound transmitter by screw thread that is provided at distal end of tool holder. A clamping nut (6) is formed with through-hole and slot-like recess (8) which is extended from distal end to central region and connected at enlarged proximal end (9). The diameter of the through-hole is smaller at the distal end than in central region. The dental tool is coated with nickel, titanium, titanium nitride, and zircon nitride.
