The invention relates to a cementing process for the storage of waste, in particular hazardous waste and, specifically, contaminated radioactive waste, containing sulphates and/or other salts that corrode conventional concrete, said contaminated waste resulting from the treatment of organic waste either via wet oxidation or via oxidation with hydrogen peroxide. According to the invention, the contaminated waste, which has been converted into fine powder during the oxidation treatment, is compacted in order to obtain aggregates, and the aggregates are subsequently mixed with a sulphate-compatible cement and water in order to produce concrete. Once it has set, the resulting concrete is placed in sealed containers intended for the final storage of the contaminated waste. |
