摘要 <p>Preparing one or more of polyether carbonate polyol comprises (a) introducing a double metal cyanide catalyst and one or more hydrogen-functional starter compounds into a reactor; (b) introducing an inert gas, an inert gas-carbon dioxide mixture or carbon dioxide into the reactor and removing the inert gas or carbon dioxide to form a reduced pressure (absolute) of 10-800 mbar in the reactor; (c) adding a partial portion of one or more alkylene oxide to the mixture obtained from the step (a); and (d) adding one or more alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide to mixture obtained from the step (b). Preparing one or more of polyether carbonate polyol comprises (a) introducing a double metal cyanide catalyst and one or more hydrogen-functional starter compounds into a reactor; (b) introducing an inert gas, an inert gas-carbon dioxide mixture or carbon dioxide into the reactor at 50-200[deg] C and removing the inert gas or carbon dioxide to form a reduced pressure (absolute) of 10-800 mbar in the reactor; (c) adding a partial portion of one or more alkylene oxide to the mixture obtained from the step (a) under an atmosphere of inert gas-carbon dioxide mixture or under a carbon dioxide atmosphere at 50-200[deg] C; and (d) adding one or more alkylene oxides and carbon dioxide to mixture obtained from the step (b). An independent claim is included for the activation of double metal cyanide catalyst comprising carrying out the steps (a) and (b).</p>
