The present invention relates to a circuit interrupting apparatus to facilitate an operation for conductive connection and interruption of an electric circuit or the like. The present invention relates to a circuit interruption apparatus (1) to interrupt an electric circuit by separating a plug connector (3) to insert into a socket connector (2) from the socket connector (2). The present invention includes: a socket main terminal (5) which is installed on the socket connector (2) and is connected to the electric circuit; a socket signal terminal (6) which is connected to a signal circuit; a plug main terminal (8) which is installed on the plug connector (3); and a plug signal terminal (9). The plug main terminal (8) conducts and connects the electric circuit to be in contact with the socket main terminal (5) in a state that the signal circuit is interrupted by inserting the plug connector (3) into the socket connector (2). The plug signal terminal (9) conducts and connects the signal circuit to be in contact with the socket signal terminal (6) in a state that the electric circuit is conducted and connected by rotating the plug connector (3) around an insertion shaft line in an insertion state of the socket connector (2).
