<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component feeder which can expose an electronic component without separating a cover tape from a carrier tape and is high in productivity and high in operation reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A component feeder includes: a tape feeding device which sequentially delivers a component housing tape from a state wound around a housing tape reel and feeds up to a component take-out position; and an electronic component exposure device which enables taking out of an electronic component by exposing the electronic component. The electronic component exposure device comprises: a positioning device which positions the component housing tape; a cutter of which the blade edge arranged at the right angle to the interlayer surface between a cover tape and a carrier tape has an acute angle; pushing-expanding means which opens the cut cover tape in order to enable the electronic component to be taken out from the carrier tape; a component take-out part for taking out the electronic component exposed by the pushing-expanding means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
