<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since many operating buttons such as a cage call button, a door opening button, a door closing button, and the like are provided on a cage operating panel of an elevator, as a user may make a mistake in depressing the button, an object in which a frame is provided surrounding the operating buttons, and the button which may be operated by the user is lit to guide the user's eyes is considered, but as there is the frame surrounding the buttons, since presence of the frame is conspicuous rather than lighting and lights-out of the buttons, an effect of guiding the user's eyes by the lighting and lights-out is thin. <P>SOLUTION: A surface plate 2 surrounding the operating buttons is made translucent, and an indicating lamp is provided on the back, thereby brightening the surface plate 2 surrounding the buttons.
