摘要 The present invention relates to a method for determining the respiration rate of a living organism, to a respiration rate determining system, and to a magnetic resonance imaging device. In the method to determine the respiration rate of a living organism (10), a wireless signal (S) is transmitted by a wireless transmitter (F) arranged on the living organism (10), the transmitted wireless signal (S) is acquired, and a respiration rate is determined based on the acquired wireless signal (S). The respiration rate determining system includes the wireless transmitter (F) and a wireless acquisition device (U, U′). The wireless acquisition device (U, U′) is formed to: acquire at least one variable, which is at least one frequency of an acquired wireless signal and/or at least one amplitude and/or at least one phase; and determine the respiration rate of the living organism (10) according to at least one variable described above. The magnetic resonance imaging device includes a respiration frequency determining system (5, 5′).
