A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes: a display part; a communications part to communicate with a remote controller including an haptic actuator for providing a haptic feedback; and a controller to operate in an operating mode which is selected by a user among a plurality of operating modes, wherein the controller can transmit a feedback signal for driving the haptic actuator in at least one operating mode set to provide the haptic feedback among the operating modes to the remote controller through the communications part.
