<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible joint having a flange structure which is light and can be manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: The flexible joint 10 includes a flexible cylindrical portion 20 having a cylindrical body 21 and an annular seal 22 extending outwardly in a radial direction from an axial end of the body 21, an annular solid ring 30 buried in the annular seal 22, and a connection flange 50 formed on both axial ends of the flexible cylindrical portion 20. The connection flange 50 is made by folding back a plate to from at least a cylindrical inner periphery plate 51 fixed to the outer periphery of the axial end of the body 21 and an annular receiving plate 52 fixed to the back of the annular seal 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
