<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery, which is capable of constituting a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in cycle characteristics and safety and is suppressed in expansion caused by charging. <P>SOLUTION: The negative electrode material for a lithium ion secondary battery includes a composite particle obtained by compounding a second particle containing a silicon atom using a carbonaceous material such that the second particle is eccentrically located on the surface of a first particle which is a graphite particle having a pore and comprises a plurality of flat particles aggregated or bonded to have an orientation plane in non-parallel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
