<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The lock (10) has a pusher nut (16) accommodating an axle (46) of a pusher (18), a latch (28) and a latch pivoted lever (22). The lever is pivoted by the nut and engages a latch tail (26) with a free end (24) for moving the latch into a housing (12). The lever is bent or broken and projects from the nut in a direction of the latch, where the lever encompasses an area (38) arranged above the nut. The nut has a radially projecting hook (58) in which a mounting lug (56) of a connecting rod is suspended. Pusher height retaining springs and nut spring are integrated on an installation area. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Mortise lock i.e. panic lock (claimed), for installation in a tube frame door i.e. escape door. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The latch lever is bent or broken and the lever projects from the pusher nut in the direction of the latch, where the lever encompasses the area arranged above the pusher nut, so that the pusher can be fastened to the tube frame in a better manner without providing functional devices above the pusher nut.
