The present invention relates to a patterned retarder and, more specifically, to the patterned retarder which comprises a light luminescence layer including light luminescence materials. When the patterned retarder is applied on a display to directly display a laser pointer on a display, the patterned retarder emits light when stimulated by light. Therefore visibility of the laser pointer is greatly improved.
