<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material of only one type which can be inserted into each of different-module floor structures between adjacent joists and between an edge joist and a joist adjacent thereto. <P>SOLUTION: A floor heat insulation material 10 formed of a synthetic resin foam is usable in such floor structures having four different forms that breadths Y of groundsills are Y1 and Y2 and breadths D of the joist and the edge joist are D1 and D2 (greater than D1). It has a rectangular center portion 10a, and a first side portion 10b and a second side portion 10c connected via V-shaped slit grooves S1, S2. The S1 on the side of the center portion 10a is located a distance of an almost half of the sum of the breadth Y1 of the groundsill and the breadth D1 of the joist inside from a side end face 11 of the first side portion 10b in the state that the floor heat insulation material 10 is in a plate-like attitude.
