<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retransmit video data efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: An encoder 10 transmits a video stream to which a multicast address is set. The encoder 10 acquires a reciprocation delay time between its own device and a plurality of reception terminals included by the multicast address. The encoder 10 also accepts a retransmission request of a data packet included in the video stream from the plurality of terminals. The encoder 10 further transmits a packet required for reproducing the video stream at the terminal at least after the maximum reciprocation delay time among the reciprocation delay times acquired previously passes from transmission time of the data packet whose retransmission request has been accepted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
