The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling charge. According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: a power source; a terminal unit which includes a first terminal and a second terminal; a driving unit which provides current having any one level selected from a first level and a second level of power supplied from the power source to the first terminal; a driving control unit which controls the driving unit to provide current having the second level to the first terminal in response to the reception of the current corresponding to the first level from the second terminal. Furthermore, the various embodiments of the present invention include embodiment which is related to the charging control method and apparatus, which can minimize damage of a charger even though the terminals are exposed to the outside. |
