The present invention relates to a tensioning device for a traction means where a traction means having two or more end parts can be tensioned. The tensioning device for a traction means includes: a first fastening means; a second fastening means; and a coupling means. The first fastening means has a first fastening part wherein a first end part of the traction means can be fastened. The second fastening means has a second fastening part wherein a second end part of the traction means can be fastened. The coupling means couples the first fastening means and the second fastening means to each other to enable the first fastening element and the second fastening element to be movable to each other and to be restrained on at least one side. Moreover, the first fastening element and the second fastening element are able to be pre-tensioned to each other through at least one spring element.
