The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display including multiple pixels which are arranged in a matrix form. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the liquid crystal display comprises: a plurality of gate lines formed on a first substrate, wherein two gate lines are disposed for each pixel row; a plurality of data lines formed on the first substrate, wherein one data line is disposed for two pixel columns; a common voltage line formed on the first substrate and extending along a vertical central portion of the pixel; and a plurality of pixel electrodes and a common electrode formed on the first substrate to overlap each other with an insulation layer therebetween. The two pixel electrodes, which are disposed in the two pixel rows between two adjacent data lines of the data lines, are connected to one of the two data lines at the same time. |
