<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress accumulation of deposits in a glass melting furnace without complicating the device configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When a high-level radioactive liquid waste 6 is supplied to the melting space 3a in a glass melting furnace 1 designed to perform processing to make the high-level radioactive liquid waste 6 into a molten glass 10 along with glass raw materials 8, Te 15 is added in advance to constitute a prescribed percentage against the amount of Pd contained in the high-level radioactive liquid waste 6.
