<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing the occurrence of a phenomenon such as the abnormal sound of a plate-like elastic cleaning material coming into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor after a transfer is completed by properly performing the formation of a specific developer image corresponding to the electrification amount of the surface of the photoreceptor, without actually checking the state of the surface of the photoreceptor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a rotating photoreceptor, electrifying means, image forming means forming an image developed with a developer on the electrified surface of the photoreceptor, transfer means transferring a developer image to a material to be recorded or an intermediate transfer body, the plate-like elastic cleaning material coming into contact with the surface of the photoreceptor after the transfer is completed, to clean the surface, a power supply supplying a voltage for electrification to the electrifying means, measuring means measuring the value of a current flowing to the electrifying means from the power supply or the value of a voltage generated between the power supply and the electrifying means, when the voltage for electrification or the current for electrification is supplied to the electrifying means from the power supply, and correction means correcting the formation conditions of the specific developer image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor by the image forming means, but not transferred to the material to be recorded or the intermediate transfer body, according to the measurement result obtained from the measuring means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
