<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The apparatus (1) has a drying module (200) comprising a bearing surface (100) receiving wet vegetal products to be dried (P), and a product contact area (ZC) defined between the bearing surface and a drying surface of a drying band (210) wrapped with a web of microfibers fringes (212) in the contact area. A moisture extractor (250) is arranged in a downstream of the contact area along winding direction of the drying surface of the drying band for compressing the drying surface and for sucking moisture from the products. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Apparatus for drying wet vegetal products e.g. washed and cut lettuce leaves, for packaging the products. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The moisture extractor is arranged in a downstream of the contact area along winding direction of the drying surface of the drying band for compressing the drying surface and for sucking moisture from the products, thus eliminating the surface moisture from the products in a rapid and efficient manner, and hence assuring effective drying of the products, while conserving fragile structure of the products. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a sectional view of a product drying module.
